Currently in the design and development phase, this project consists of a 10,800 sf two-story veterinarian hospital located in Olmos Park. The project is registered with the U.S. Green Building Council under LEED for New Construction rating system and is projected to achieve a gold or platinum certification, one of the few urban projects in our area to achieve such a high rating and while promoting both energy and water conservation in everyday use. A key feature for water conservation includes three 3100 gallon rainwater cistern storage tanks with filtration systems to supplement every day water usage as well as for irrigation system. Solatube dome sky lights, daylight harvesting system, clearstory windows and packaged roof top units system are included in the design to achieve energy savings and conservation. The interior finish includes polished concrete flooring, epoxy flooring at kennel areas, carpeting and rubber flooring made of recycled materials. Custom casework system and quartz counter tops will be included through out. We will utilize foam insulation within the perimeter walls to reduce noise in the kennel areas in order to achieve a high STC rating.
